Laurent Boghossian, a.k.a Boghoss, combines two worlds that rarely meet: professional leadership and comedy.
Before becoming a full-time comedian, Laurent built a successful career as a software engineer, team manager, executive coach and author of several books on management and leadership. Over the years, he has worked with dozens of organizations and supported hundreds of executives, managers and employees in developing stronger leadership, communication and team performance.
Yet something was missing.
In 2014, he followed an inner calling and wrote his first one-man show, determined to give full expression to his creativity, energy and passion for the stage. What began as an artistic adventure soon became a life-changing journey.
For the next ten years, Laurent performed whenever he could while immersing himself in every aspect of the performing arts. He studied acting, body language, breathing techniques, voice projection, stage presence and theatrical direction. He experimented relentlessly, embraced uncertainty, celebrated successes, learned from failures and kept moving forward.
His philosophy was simple: Live the experience to its fullest.
Constantly Expanding His Limits
Driven by a desire for continuous growth, Laurent has consistently challenged himself beyond his comfort zone.
Today, he performs in both French and English. Between 2023 and 2024, alongside his French productions, he appeared in comedy clubs in Paris, Barcelona, Ottawa, Montreal and New York, performing stand-up comedy entirely in English.
This international experience reflects more than a professional achievement—it represents an ongoing personal transformation built one performance, one audience and one stage at a time.
Ten years after writing his first show, Laurent has created six original productions and performed more than 500 live shows. This unique journey ultimately led him to reunite his two lifelong passions: leadership and humour.

For the general public, Laurent performs “What the F…! What Is Going On?”, a deeply personal stand-up show inspired by his own life experiences. With warmth, intelligence and irreverence, he challenges hypocrisy, political correctness and the absurdities of modern society.
